Pasture Walk Love for the Land & Animals

Join us for a pasture walk and dinner at Fallen Aspen Farm, a sustainable livestock farm in Lawrence County, PA.

We’ll explore pasture management through rotational grazing, silvopasture, and conservation methods. Owners Jake and Desiree will share their passion and experience around ethically raising pastured pork, poultry, and lamb. We’ll end the evening with a pulled pork meal and a discussion around the fire from our generous farmers. Come hungry and ready to learn!

Fallen Aspen Farm is located 50 miles north of Pittsburgh and specializes in producing high-quality meats, including pastured poultry, pork, and 100% grass-fed lamb. Their products are distributed through Pittsburgh farmers markets, scheduled farm pick-ups, and city deliveries.

This event is supported by funds from the Tundra Glacier Fund, a PASmart Grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Education, and USDA’s Partnerships for Climate-Smart Commodities Project.
