About our conference

Each February, thousands of farmers, homesteaders, educators, and other food system professionals gather for four days of intensive learning on more than 120 food and farming topics.

No matter your experience level or agricultural interests, you’ll be able to pack your schedule with valuable sessions that help hone your craft or advance your career. Our conference additionally features networking and social events, programming for kids, and an expansive trade show that includes more than 100 vendors.

People passionate about sustainable agriculture and healthy food systems from more than 30 states and six countries have gathered at our hallmark event since 1992, leaving inspired and energized for the season to come.

Schedule overview

  1. Wednesday, February 6: Take a deep dive into a topic of your choice with one of our full-day intensives.
  2. Thursday, February 7 and Friday, February 8: Our main conference days include educational programs ranging from 30-minute talks and demonstrations to three-hour sessions, and feature keynote speakers, our renowned trade show, receptions, dinners, movie screenings, and more!
  3. Saturday, February 9: The final day of our conference continues with a full slate of educational programs and our trade show, capped by our final keynote address, which wraps up in the early afternoon. You’re invited to stick around for our Annual Meeting & Regional Breakouts.
