Steve supports and develops our technology systems and manages several databases related to our research, food system, and community work.
Prior to joining Pasa, Steve supported nonprofits such as the Himalayan Institute in Honesdale, Pennsylvania and the Zen Center of Pittsburgh. He most recently worked in Dow R&D’s Information Research group where he developed custom software, managed the organization’s portfolio of digital project work, and led a team of data scientists. With degrees from Penn State in computer science, education, religious studies, and East Asian studies, as well as professional certifications in mediation, scrum project management, and change management, he brings a wide range of skills to his work supporting Pasa’s mission of cultivating vibrant community-focused farms and food systems.
While Steve now lives in Toronto, his passion for sustainable agriculture stems from his time spent living in central Pennsylvania on a grass-fed raw milk dairy farm. In his free time, he finds joy in hiking, bird watching, playing guitar, drawing, and photography.
