About San

San facilitates one-on-one engagement and local relationship-building with marginalized and underserved farmers to increase the accessibility (and relevance) of federal, state, local, private, and community resources.

San is a military veteran who has been farming for the past six years at various operations in California and Pennsylvania. His entryway into the Pasa community was through our two-year Diversified Vegetable Apprenticeship, where he studied under the mentorship of New Morning Farm and Katydid Hill Farm. San has also served on Pasa’s board as part of the finance committee. As someone who has benefited from the knowledge and network of people accessed through Pasa, San is excited to bring other farmers into this community.

San operates his own farm business, Herbal Affirmations, in Lehigh County, growing herbs, making teas, tinctures, and herbal smoke blends with the mission to support fellow soldiers working through struggles with stress, anxiety, depression, and insomnia. In his free time he enjoys hiking, watching anime and playing retro video games.
