Rachel is part of our customer support team, working to maintain a welcoming and inclusive application process for frontline workers applying to the Farm and Food Workers Relief Program in 14 states throughout the Northeast.
Rachel grew up in and around Boston and has spent a lot of her life working on small farms in both Massachusetts and Iowa. Most recently, she has been farming at Brookwood Farm in Canton, Massachusetts, where she helps to grow and harvest veggies and flowers for her community. She loves the ways that farming teaches her about people, the natural world, and their relationships to one another. As a farmworker herself, she feels proud to work for an organization that supports fellow farmworkers.
Outside of production farming, Rachel likes experimenting with saving and sharing seeds, cooking lots of food, playing music, and hanging out with her cat, Bertie.
