About Phalika

Phalika stewards our media archives and supports consistent and meaningful communication within our team and to our broader community.

Phalika strives to get culturally significant foods to diasporic communities in their orbit. In undergrad, they coordinated a garden on 1.3 acres of land and completed a thesis on transnational cuisine, which led to the creation of a collaborative multicultural cookbook. They have previously trained in agroecology and are now training with their local Extension’s farm school program. Phalika aims to foster antioppressive, anticolonial, and antiracist dialogues through their work with Pasa and in their daily life.

Born and raised in Cambodia, Phalika is a serial hobbyist and loves adding new skills to their repertoire. You can often find them in the woods of Delaware looking for berries or on local beaches flipping the prehistoric and almighty horseshoe crabs.
