As a Communications Associate, Phalika stewards our media archives and supports consistent and meaningful communication within our team and to our broader community.
Phalika found conversations around food and farming to be at the intersections of their undergraduate studies and co-curricular activities. In college, they created a multicultural cookbook and managed the Grantham Community Garden, which included a vegetable patch, an apiary, and a chicken coop. Phalika was encouraged to join the team after attending various Sustainable Agriculture Conferences and becoming quickly enamored by Pasa’s dedication to social justice, food sovereignty, and storytelling.
In their spare time, Phalika makes collages, forages for berries, and learns about their Southeast Asian ancestry.
