Michael coordinates and advocates for our farm-based research projects, including Financial Benchmark, Soil Health, and Nutrient Density studies.
Prior to joining Pasa, Michael spent seven years farming at various diversified vegetable operations in New York and Virginia. He holds a master’s degree in agricultural economics from Virginia Tech and has served in both AmeriCorps and the Peace Corps. He has worked on organic farm research projects in Niger and the Philippines. Michael’s interest in a farm research program informed by farmer voices and local data was what attracted him to working at Pasa.
Michael currently lives in Philadelphia where he loves to play soccer, bike, cook, strum a guitar, and volunteer on urban farms.
