About Julissa

Julissa is part of our customer support team working to maintain a welcoming and inclusive process for frontline workers applying to the Farm and Food Workers Relief program in 14 states throughout the Northeast.

Currently, Julissa is the Mobilization and Tactics Coordinator at Movement of Immigrant Leaders in Pennsylvania (MILPA) and the Co-Coordinator of the Driving PA Forward Coalition. Working with several organizations statewide, she handles correspondence with workers and coordinates with team members. She also has extensive experience in communicating with individuals in need and providing solutions quickly. Her ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized, work independently, and work in a fast-paced environment has been instrumental in her success. Previously, Julissa collaborated with Pasa on in-person events to help immigrant farmworkers become familiar with the application process. She is looking forward to being part of the Pasa team and helping deliver much-needed financial help to our agriculture workers.

Julissa was born in Queens, New York, but was raised and currently lives in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She is of Mexican descent and loves learning about other cultures. She also enjoys trying new things, ranging from baking, sewing, and even ziplining.
