Ventura worked at Apple Ridge Farm as an apprentice, becoming a more experienced, confident, and knowledgeable teacher and farm worker who spoke up when needed. They have experience hunting, raising various farm animals, and stewarding a garden, which eventually turned into a love for the food and farm community. 

With the help of Apple Ridge Farm, Ventura co-founded Untamed Ferments, a business that turns leftover crops into kombucha. Upon graduating, they hope to expand their business to farmers markets and reach local communities more thoroughly.
