Join the National Young Farmers Coalition for a listening session to discuss the farmland access and tenure challenges that you have faced as a farmer or as an aspiring farmer in Western Pennsylvania.
Farmer voices are critical to informing our state and federal legislators about what farmers need to succeed. Through this farmer-to-farmer conversation, we will identify common challenges around access to land for farmers in Western PA and work to build a land access policy platform to advocate for changes in the state.
All farmer voices are essential to the conversation; whether you are just getting started or have been a lifelong farmer, everyone is encouraged to join. This session is free and includes dinner and a chance to meet other local farmers.
For farmers who are unable to attend the session in person, we will be distributing a survey to make sure all voices are included. Additional in-person listening sessions will be held in central and eastern PA later this summer and early fall.
