PA-WAgN “Walk a Mile” potluck

PA-WAgN’s “Walk a Mile” potluck series, with hosts throughout the state and meetings throughout the year, is a chance to meet others of like mind in your area, share perspective, stories and food, and grow your knowledge and resource base as well as your personal network.

Our next gathering will be in Washington County. Please bring a dish to share, and feel free to bring your children, family and friends. We’ll meet at The Farm at Greater Washington County Food Bank for a tour and brief project, then head over to the Food Bank offices to share a meal together. We look forward to seeing you there!

Each event includes a representative of PA-WAgN, partner organizations, and private farmers, growers and food activists. We meet at farms, community gardens, and similar spaces near you, where you get a chance to meet the host, experience her reality, and then sit down and share a meal together, while sharing your stories and strength.
