Film Screening Common Ground


Join us for a screening of this highly anticipated film, followed by a panel discussion.

Common Ground, the sequel to the 2020 film, Kiss the Ground, focuses on the deteriorating state of the world’s soil. The documentary traces causes of this crisis and profiles a movement of farmers pioneering solutions.

Pennsylvania Secretary of Agriculture Russell Redding will deliver opening remarks at this screening, organized by the Shippensburg University Center for Land Use and Sustainability.

A panel discussion will follow the film, featuring:

  • Will Brownback, farmer, Spiral Path Farm
  • Tiana Zabela-Lopez, GoggleWorks Center for the Arts
  • Lucas Waybright, Dairy Grazing Project Manager, Pasa
  • Bill Chain
  • Eric Finkenbinder, meteorologist and farmer (moderator)
