Beginning Farming Workshop

PA Farm Link will be hosting a “Beginning Farmer” workshop on September 14, 2018 in Lancaster County, PA. If you are a new or beginning farmer or plan to begin farming in the future be sure to join us. Our workshop will cover a variety of topics to help you be successful as you begin your farming career.

Topics include: Farm Leasing & Proper Leasing Documents, Insurance Needs, Accounting & Recordkeeping Tools, Business Planning, Loan Programs as well as a discussion session with an experienced farmer panel and networking opportunities.
The workshop is being held at the Lancaster Farm & Home Center located at 1383 Arcadia Rd., Lancaster, PA 17601 from 9 am until 3:30 pm on September 14, 2018.

Registration is requested by September 10th and can be done by visiting www.pafarmlink.org or by calling PA Farm Link at 717-705-2121. A registration fee of $15/person applies which includes lunch and a copy of our “Drafting Ag Leases” booklet (an $11 value).
