Organic Farm – Central Ohio. A 20-acre farm just outside of Columbus, Ohio. We are a year-round farm that grows a variety of produce using the best organic practices in our fields and high tunnels. We sell our produce in several farmer’s markets and directly to local restaurants. We are looking for a hands-on farm manager to lead our farm operations. The right candidate will have 3+ years’ experience in all aspects of organic produce farming. The Farm Manager will lead our small team in planning, prepping, planting, harvesting and selling our produce. Knowledge and experience in the following areas relating to both farm field and greenhouses is desired: bed preparation, soil maintenance, seed starting, germination and transplanting, irrigation and watering, disease / pest identification and eradication, weeding, picking, washing, and packing produce, succession planting, composting, farm maintenance, farmer’s market, labor and heavy lifting, this position works year-round in the elements and involves physical labor and heavy lifting.
