About Xinyang

Xinyang (pronounced “Shin-Young”) works closely with Pasa’s finance team to perform day-to-day accounting duties and maintain a close eye on accounts payable, receivables, and purchases.

Xinyang first came to the United States as an exchange student at Allegheny College, then obtained her master’s degree from The University of Chicago and later her LCSW licensure. Prior to joining Pasa, Xinyang worked at Crawford County Human Services in assisting with child abuse/neglect investigations, outcome reports, case files, and correspondences. She also worked at Crawford County CASA on budgeting, records keeping, grants writing and reporting, and volunteer/case management. Xinyang and her husband own Highland Farm & Garden in Meadville, Pennsylvania. Regenerative farming is her passion, prompting her to join the Pasa team.

She enjoys reading, knitting, botanical drawing and painting, and gardening. One of her current farm projects is to turn her backyard orchard into a permaculture food forest.
