Xinyang performs day-to-day accounting duties, supports grants finance, and keeps a keen eye on accounts payable, receivables, and transactions.
Prior to joining Pasa, Xinyang worked in social services and child welfare as a licensed clinical social worker. She is currently pursuing a Master’s of Science in Accounting and CPA Credentials. Xinyang and her husband grow a field of hardneck garlic and an orchard of 1000+ pawpaw trees. They also raise registered Babydoll Southdown sheep, alpacas, poultry, and many other critters on their farmstead, Highland Farm & Garden, in Northwestern Pennsylvania. Regenerative farming is her passion.
One of her current farm projects is to turn the backyard orchard into a permaculture food forest. During pawpaw season, you’ll find her at the Pittsburgh Bloomfield Saturday Market selling pawpaws.
