Xinyang works closely with Pasa’s finance team to perform day-to-day accounting duties and maintains a close eye on accounts payable, receivables, and purchases.
Prior to joining Pasa, Xinyang worked in domestic violence services and child welfare for the past decade after earning an MA in social work at University of Chicago and later her LCSW license. She is currently pursuing an MS in accounting at University of Massachusetts Amherst. Xinyang and her husband grow pawpaws and raise sheep, alpacas, laying hens, and many other critters on their farmstead, Highland Farm & Garden, in Meadville, PA. Regenerative farming is her passion, prompting her to join the Pasa team.
She enjoys reading, knitting, botanical drawing, gardening, and making fermented hot sauce. One of her current farm projects is to turn the backyard orchard into a permaculture food forest.
