Veronica works closely with underserved farmers and growers in Philadelphia to understand their needs and expand access to essential resources.
Growing up in Philly, Veronica was introduced to growing food in 2010 while working for a nonprofit that integrated community gardens into its broader vacant land management initiatives. This experience unlocked a deep interest in working with growers, which she has continued to nurture. Veronica apprenticed with two small-scale vegetable production farms in California and Long Island, worked with rural communities facing food insecurity in Nebraska, and installed pollinator gardens in Oklahoma. More recently, Veronica supported farmers at the USDA Urban Service Center in Philadelphia. She brings a well-rounded combination of professional and personal experience to serving growers across the region. Veronica is excited to grow Pasa’s wealth of resources, depth of experience, and strong network of relationships.
In 2025, Veronica walked 500 miles over 33 days across northern Spain to honor the passing of her mother. She enjoys various physical activities from roller skating to paddle boarding, and enjoys eating eggplant prepared in a variety of ways.
