About Riley

Riley facilitates collaboration between Pasa and our Climate-Smart partners and drives community engagement and outreach efforts to promote awareness and participation.

Riley is a fourth-generation farmer with nearly 30 years of cattle ranching experience in conventional and regenerative operations. He earned a degree in political science from Oregon State University and spent a year after college organizing voter outreach for the Oregon League of Conservation Voters. He also had the opportunity to take over managing a 500-acre regenerative farm for six years, specializing in pasture and silvopasture-raised beef, marketed directly to consumers and retailers. Riley is particularly excited about developing and utilizing efficiency genetics in his family’s Red Angus cow herd and harnessing regenerative practices to build soil health and reduce input costs on the family ranch. He was drawn to Pasa because he believes that both the people and the environment benefit when consumers are more closely connected to the land and animals their food comes from. He also recognizes Pasa as a true leader in building community-focused farms and food systems.

Riley lives in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania with his husband and tri-color corgi, Tilly. He loves doing anything outdoors and has a passion for natural spaces and animals.
