Nicole supports farmers in the Philadelphia region by facilitating access to comprehensive conservation planning, technical assistance, and project implementation.
Nicole formerly worked as a Civil Engineering Technician (CET) for NRCS-NJ in partnership with the DelAtlantic Soil Conservation District. During her time there, she worked closely with conservation planners and fellow engineering staff to develop designs for NRCS Conservation Practices for farmers in her working area. In alignment with Pasa’s mission of antioppression, Nicole is excited to drive real change and connect small-scale farmers and growers to resources that will help them succeed.
Nicole enjoys living in Philadelphia with her partner, Nate. Together, they find ways to connect with nature, whether that involves planning camping trips, hikes, or picnics. Nicole’s personal favorite hobby is tending to her garden at her parents home in southern New Jersey. Her ultimate goal in life is to create a space where community can gather for events and to tend to a large scale garden that will help feed those around her.
