Kristen supports farmers in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont to facilitate access to comprehensive conservation planning and project implementation funding.
Before joining Pasa, Kristen worked on their undergraduate school’s farm, participated in a sustainable agriculture intensive in Oahu, Hawai’i, and completed a thesis on agroforestry. After graduating, they worked on vegetable and fruit farms across the Northeast and provided technical assistance to community gardens. Kristen also holds a master’s degree in resource management and administration with certificates in climate resilience and food justice and resilient communities. More recently, they did marketing for a regional food hub in New England and strengthened their knowledge of regenerative farming through the Rodale Institute Farmer Training program.
In their spare time, Kristen enjoys painting, writing, and hiking.
