About Jennifer

Jennifer is an AmeriCorps member placed with Pasa through the Working Lands Climate Corps program. She is training alongside our Climate-Smart Farming and Marketing team to support farmers as they implement farming practices to increase ecosystem resilience and food sovereignty from Maine to South Carolina.

Jennifer joins Pasa with experience in international development and interests in expanding equity at the intersection of the environment and peacebuilding. While pursuing her bachelor of science in environmental sciences and global affairs, she studied relations between farmers and herders in Nigeria, which she considers her second home. After graduating, Jennifer accompanied asylum seekers and refugees as a full-time volunteer at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Washington, DC, through Franciscan Mission Service. She is happy to return home to Philadelphia to support those caring for our common land. Jennifer deeply appreciates the collaborative atmosphere at Pasa and our commitment to the farmers we work with.

Outside of work, she enjoys maintaining a garden handed on to her by her grandmother, as well as running, cooking Nigerian food, spending time with family, and appreciating the gift of every sunny day.
