Gretchen supports farmers in West Pennsylvania, southwest New York, and Ohio to facilitate access to comprehensive conservation planning and project implementation funding.
Gretchen and her partner own and operate Cherry Hill Ecological Farm, a pasture-based livestock operation in northwestern Pennsylvania. She is continuously inspired and encouraged by the biodiversity that grazing systems can support, from fireflies and migratory birds to native plant species. Before joining Pasa, Gretchen worked in organic certification and food safety, as well as on farming operations throughout the Northeast. She is delighted to continue supporting farmers, our land, and the food system.
Outside of farming and food systems work, she enjoys swimming in Lake Erie, traveling to new places, and sharing meals with friends and family.
