Chris connects farmers with Pasa’s comprehensive suite of services and assistance.
Growing up, Chris loved to spend time in the woods of northern New Jersey, where a passion for the natural world blossomed. As an adult, Chris began foraging mushrooms and plants during hikes in the forests of Western Pennsylvania. His interest in foraging led to an interest in mycology and eventually a job on a farm near Pittsburgh growing mushrooms. Working alongside farmers and witnessing the effort required to produce food left a deep impression on him. Chris initially joined Pasa’s Food and Farm Worker Relief Program and returned when an opportunity to help farmers build a better food system sprang from the ground.
In his free time, Chris is often hiking in the woods, tending his garden, or cooking in the kitchen.
