About Anastassia

Anastassia supports farmers in the Hudson Valley to facilitate access to comprehensive conservation planning and project implementation funding.

Anna has been involved with organic agriculture for nearly two decades and has worked with all modes of agricultural production within the Northeastern United States. She graduated from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry and is passionate about science, incorporating a systems perspective into all her applications of farming. Most recently, Anna has been working as an organic certification specialist while operating her own farm in Sullivan County, New York. She also works closely with her local Cornell Cooperative Extension to continually help farmers build and expand upon their climate resilience—she lives and breathes farming and science! Anna is deeply passionate about helping farmers succeed and building their climatological resilience as we all move towards our collective future. She believes that equality and food sovereignty are innate rights to those who inhabit this earth, and is eager to support an organization that deeply aligns with this mission.

Anna is a proud caretaker of a newly establishing hazelnut orchard!
