Use this information to share more about the Conference with your audiences

The 2025 Pasa Sustainable Agriculture Conference will be held February 5–7, 2025, at the Lancaster County Convention Center in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Pasa’s annual Conference, entering its 34th year, draws a diverse audience of rural and urban farmers, educators, advocates, entrepreneurs, community groups, artisans, researchers, policymakers, home cooks and gardeners, youth, and others for three days of learning on sustainable agriculture and food system topics.

It’s going to be packed with sessions on farming and food systems, social and networking opportunities, plus a trade show with exhibitors showcasing products, services, and resources made for farmers and agriculture enthusiasts.

While at the conference, attendees can explore 80+ educational sessions on diverse food and farming topics, attend social and networking events, or visit the expansive trade show.

This year’s plenary keynote speaker is Jaime Elizondo, the Founder of Real Wealth Ranching, a teaching enterprise that emphasizes the balance of money, time, and health to achieve real wealth. The closing plenary speaker is Dr. Lyla June Johnston, an Indigenous musician, scholar, and community organizer of Diné (Navajo), Tsétsêhéstâhese (Cheyenne), and European lineages.

Other featured speakers include Dani Baker of Enchanted Edible Forest, Helen Atthowe from Woodleaf Farm, Jean-Martin Fortier from The Market Gardener Institute, Jeff Poppen—The Barefoot Farmer, Tomia MacQueen of Wildflower Farm, Steve Gabriel from Wellspring Forest Farm, and farmers from Not Our Farm and Broadfork Farm.

Conference registration rates follow a sliding scale model to help keep it accessible to all. So those who can afford to pay a little more can help cover those who are not able to pay the full cost. Scholarship opportunities are also available!

What folks are saying about the Conference

Please share full quotes as needed with your audiences

“There’s a moment each year when I can really feel that we’re part of something bigger. With everyone gathered in the main auditorium, I ask people to stand or raise their hand—starting with those who were in attendance for our first Conference in 1992, then those who have been to more than 20 conferences, and so on, ending with those who are at their first Pasa Conference. In that moment, we feel the power of our collective potential—all of us standing up for the future of our food system and our planet.” – Pasa Executive Director, Hannah Smith-Brubaker

“We’re excited to have the voices of so many Industry leaders like Dani Baker, Tomia McQueen, Helen Atthowe, and Jean-Martin Fortier to share their knowledge and perspectives on sustainable agriculture topics and issues,” – Pasa Events Coordinator, Ben Wetzel

“This will be our second Pasa conference. Last year’s conference literally gave us the confidence and inspiration we needed to move toward starting our own operation. I can’t stress enough how life-changing it was. Besides the critical functional knowledge, the thing I value most about Pasa is being surrounded by like-minded and like-hearted individuals who are doing exactly what my goal is to be doing, and being able to bounce ideas and issues off each other.” – A recent scholarship recipient

“Honestly, some attendees come just for the trade show. There’s something for everyone. You can sample and buy local food; stock up on books, seeds, and tools for the season; connect with services…you can even buy a new tractor,” – Pasa Associate Director for Development, Gina Langley
