Two Boots Farm is a woman-owned small, intensive farm raising cut flowers and pawpaws in Carroll County, Maryland. 2025 marks our twelfth season in production. Our goods are sold at Baltimore City Farmers’ Market, and to florists in Baltimore, DC and NOVA. We also offer floral design for weddings and events. We use intensive farming techniques on 2 acres, and implement no-till practices.

Two Boots Farm is looking for a Farm Hand to join us part time for the 2025 season. We are looking for someone to work Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays on the farm, *see schedule notes below. We would ideally like to find a candidate interested in combining this part-time Farm Hand position with our part-time Delivery Driver position. There is room for growth with this position.

harvesting- participating in the flower harvest most days of the season. Our hot summers require us to harvest quickly in the mornings, working efficiently with an eye for quality.

market prep – bouquet building for our farmers’ market

marketing- We have one Sunday farmers’ market and would require working at the market a few times a year.

Ideal background and skills include:

2+ years of organic farming experience, preferably with some knowledge of cut flower production

excellent communication skills

ability to work well both independently and as a team

a capable problem solver

excellent work ethic and positive attitude
