WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
For the 2025 growing season, we seek a beginning farmer to grow food on ~ 1/2 acre of our garden, establishing the first Town Farm (urban farm). All harvest will be the farmer’s to sell and distribute. The 2025 season will be a pilot so we plan to support the farmer in tracking yield, sales, and hours to assess feasibility for future seasons. We’re applying for funding to provide mentorship, education, and a stipend to this new farmer.

WHO WE ARE
We are a community of organic gardeners growing food at the MARC Community Garden in beautiful Meadville, PA. The MARC Community Garden is a facility of the Meadville Area Recreation Complex (MARC). The garden has functioned since 2015 as an education and community garden. 35 4’x8’ beds are available for rent (sliding scale) to community members looking to grow their own produce.
