Responsibilities:
• Conduct day to day farm activities as instructed
o Seeding and propagation
o Greenhouse production; transplanting, plant care, harvesting, renovation
o Field production; transplanting, plant care, harvesting, renovation
o Microgreen production; seeding, watering, harvesting, tray wash
o IPM activities
o Plasticulture
o Harvest and post-harvest care
o Livestock care
o Bin Washing
o Compost duties
• Work with team to accomplish daily farm tasks
• Complete daily farm chores on weekends
• Maintain accurate logs to satisfy compliance requirements
• Contribute to all housekeeping efforts
• Contribute to landscaping efforts
• Engage with SOP training programing
• Offer coverage to Pocono Organics or Pocono Raceway events, may be outside of normal schedule.
• Perform all duties with a focus on quality, thoroughness, and speed

Skills:

• Use supplies, tools, equipment in a skilled & safe manor.
• Understands the action, function, benefits and risks of farm activities performed
• Aware of personal skill scope; asks for help when needed, takes initiative when possible
• Able to work individually on a team or lead a team when necessary.
• Interested in regenerative organic practices, terminology, and their applications

Qualifications:

• Experience in agriculture or related field
• Excellent verbal, written, and digital communication skills

Physical Demands

• Must be willing to work in all types of weather year round
• Able to lift and carry 50 lbs. indoor & outdoors.
• Able to work flexible hours according to the season to meet goals
