Tracey helps farmers design agroforestry systems to diversify their operations and provide forage and living shelter for livestock while enhancing the ecology of their farm and community.
Originally from Michigan and steeped in an agricultural tradition, Tracey founded her own pre-school nature club. Her passion for growing things continued in her life-long study of forestry and ways to benefit from trees beyond forests. Before joining Pasa, Tracey spent 17 years with the Pennsylvania Bureau of Forestry, where she initiated one of the first state forest agroforestry programs in the country.
She now resides in Centre County, Pennsylvania where she tends to and grows her own food forest.
