About Rachel

Rachel is assisting our research team during soil sampling season and beyond.

Rachel studied geology and ethics at West Chester University. She also worked for the university’s Office of Sustainability and presented research at their annual seminar. Rachel’s passion for sustainable agriculture grew out of time spent working at Pasture Song Farm, a pastured livestock and fresh cut flower farm in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, where she helped with growing and arranging flowers, and enjoyed working with the pigs and chickens.

In her free time Rachel loves to read, camp, and collect fossils.
