Event Description
Farmers are always be on the lookout for great ideas to incorporate into their operations. Join us at Sunnyside Farm to learn about their innovative approach to integrating animals, vegetables, and flowers onto their small farm without a tractor!

Whether it's the rainwater catchment system, the gravity-fed drip irrigation, an improved pasture pen for poultry and swine, or one of the many other handy techniques being used there - attendees are sure to come away with something exciting to incorporate on their farms!
Registration will be open from 5/12/2017 to 6/25/2017 at 5pm.
Speaker & Host Information
Homer Walden and his wife Dru Peters operate Sunnyside Farm. Homer worked at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab and brings his knowledge of how things work to make the tractor-less farm work. Dru worked for Disney and Prentice Hall, and takes care of the business side.

Claire O’Brien runs Sunnyside Flowers on Sunnyside Farm. She’s recently joined her parents full-time on the Sunnyside Farm.

Is there financial aid for this event?
Sorry, there is no scholarship for this specific event.
What should I prepare/bring with me to this event?
This event will be outside, so dress accordingly.
Bring a reusable water bottle to fill on site and stay hydrated.
Bring a note-taking device.
Remember your business cards- PASA events are an excellent networking opportunity.
Bring your questions! Make the most of this event by preparing several questions for the day.
Will food be served?
Yes, lunch is included with the registration fees. The menu has not yet been set.

After registering, please contact PASA with any food allergies or dietary restrictions. Requests made at least two weeks in advance can usually be accommodated.
