On-Farm Composting
Date & Time
  Wednesday, September 13

Event Description
Composting is a powerful means to close nutrient loops on the farm, and potentially make use of additional nutrient inputs through other waste streams, but it is often neglected in the work of bringing a crop to harvest. Learn how the farmers at Henry Got Crops, at Saul High School, in Philadelphia, make use of their farm and school’s waste stream to enrich and feed their growing operation, in turn feeding their community.
Collaborative Regional Alliance for Farmer Training (CRAFT) events are open to the public, but geared towards new and beginning farmers. All CRAFT events are free, but pre-registration is appreciated.
Registration will be open from 8/14/2017 to 9/12/2017 at noon.
