On-Farm Workshop Two-Wheel Tractor Operation & Maintenance

Get hands-on training with the BCS walk-behind tractor.

Two-wheel, walk-behind tractors have become a powerful tool of choice for many small scale growers, and can even have their place in larger operations.

Join us at Hilltop Urban Farm in Pittsburgh where Pasa’s Dan Dalton and Hilltop’s Director of Farm Programs Ned Brockmeyer will will discuss and demonstrate the uses, basic maintenance, and safe operation of this versatile tool. We’ll also review attachments including the flail mower, rototiller, and sickle bar.

Then it’s your turn! You’ll get a chance for supervised hands-on practice.
