On-Farm Workshop Two-Wheel Tractor Operation & Maintenance

Get hands-on training with the BCS walk-behind tractor.

Two-wheel, walk-behind tractors have become a powerful tool of choice for many small scale growers, and can even have their place in larger operations.

Join us at The Seed Farm in Lehigh County where farm manager Brad Pollock will discuss and demonstrate the uses, basic maintenance, and safe operation of this versatile tool. We’ll also review attachments including the flail mower, rototiller, and sickle bar.

Then it’s your turn! You’ll get a chance for supervised hands-on practice.

About the farm

The Seed Farm offers farmer training and a farmer incubator program leasing land and helping beginning farmers launch new farm businesses.
