Explore different paths toward farming as a profession—from working within larger organizations to owning a farm—during this CRAFT study circle and potluck dinner with Aimee and John Good from The Good Farm. Aimee and John have worked as farm managers within a nonprofit organization, as independent farm managers on leased land, and as farm owners and operators on land they’ve purchased.
John and Aimee, who have farmed together for nearly 20 years, will discuss their journey and lessons learned about debt, family, and decision-making processes. John and Aimee have trained several farm apprentices who have gone on to start sustainable farms of their own.
