The Regional School Food Summit is a one-day event for Food Service Directors, growers, and educators to discuss and learn about a range of topics related to school food. The day will begin with a Grower-Buyer event for K-12 Food Service Directors and regional growers to discuss farm-to-school partnerships. Workshops throughout the day will feature topics on nutrition education, garden planning and activities, local purchasing, Farm-to-School and more.

Cost: FREE (breakfast and lunch provided)
This program is hosted by Penn State Extension and the Pittsburgh Food Policy Council. Professional development credits will be available for educators (Act 48) and Food Service Directors (Professional Standards credits for School Nutrition Program personnel).
