Organic Grain Transitions Study Circle (Postponed)

COVID-19 UPDATE

In response to Governor Wolf’s recommendation for social distancing to limit the spread of COVID-19, PASA will be postponing all in-person events currently scheduled through April 13. We will still be holding webinars as scheduled. We will continue to monitor the situation and respond as needed to protect the health and wellbeing of the PASA community.

Are you a farmer who is interested in growing organic grain for an emerging livestock market but aren’t sure what is involved to transition or certify your land for organic production?

Join us and Penn State Extension for an organic transitions study circle—an interactive session with experienced organic grain farmers, certifying agents, and agriculture professionals who will show you what it takes to produce organic grain.

This interactive session will combine short presentations with open discussion and networking. Although the event is targeted for new-to-organic farmers, experienced farmers and professionals are encouraged to attend and enrich the discussion.
