Get hands on experience with low tech mushroom cultivation and learn how to add mushrooms to your garden! Participants will learn how to grow shiitake and oyster mushrooms on logs and totems, how to establish a winecap bed using straw or wood chips and how to grow oyster mushrooms on heat treated straw. Participants will also be able to innoculate a shiitake and an oyster log to take home with them. This is an outdoor class and is limited to 10 people.
