Workshop Harvesting & Packing for Food Safety & Quality Control

Growing a good crop is only the first step!

Delivering a high-quality, nutrient dense, shelf stable product to your customers requires a careful but efficient harvest and a safe packing process.

Join us at Braddock Farms in Pittsburgh to learn about the principles and practices for maintaining food safety and storability during the harvesting, washing, and packing process. Farm manager Nick Lubecki will share some strategies they’ve developed to save time while ensuring both quality and safety.

This session is part of a year-long series of workshops called “Growing to the Next Level,” held in partnership with Grow Pittsburgh

Speakers

Nick Lubecki, Braddock Farms Manager, Grow Pittsburgh

Dan Dalton, Three Rivers Hub Manager, Pasa
