Grow Pittsburgh’s Garden Get Down: Celebrating 10 Years of Community Garden

Join Grow Pittsburgh for a Garden Get Down celebrating 10 years of our Community Garden Program! Since 2010, we’ve supported 100 gardens, engaging over 2,000 individuals as they’ve grown over 300,000 pounds of food. Your ticket to Garden Get Down will help continue this vital work for years to come.

Enjoy craft beers from Grist House and a taste of summer by Sprezzatura, while celebrating all that our dedicated garden groups and partner organizations have accomplished over the years. Enter to win exciting raffle prizes from local businesses and partner organizations and go on guided tours will be given of the nearby The Gardens of Millvale, one of the first community gardens established by Grow Pittsburgh a decade ago.

Garden Get Down is a fundraiser with sliding scale tickets. Please give as generously as you can. All proceeds benefit Grow Pittsburgh’s work to teach people how to grow food and promote the benefits gardens bring to our neighborhoods.

This event is all ages but children must be accompanied by an adult. On street parking is available. Grist House is accessible by bus via the Port Authority 2-Mount Royal route and by bicycle via the Three Rivers Heritage Trail.
