Heat is important for farms in Pennsylvania – not just for keeping the farmstead warm in winter, but for providing space heat to animal facilities during extreme conditions, process heat for drying grain, and hot water for cleaning and other operations. Farm Energy Day: Making the Most of Your Heating Options webinar will give an overview of heating options for farm needs, covering important topics such as energy content, cost, and system efficiency. Opportunities for financial support of efficiency improvements will also be discussed.
This webinar is provided with support and funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) State Energy Program. Pennsylvania farmers who participate will have the opportunity to request a timer for their engine block heater.
