Cultivating Growth: Programs & Resources for Underserved, Veteran & Beginning Farmers

What support is available to you as an underserved, veteran, or beginning farmer?

Learn about programs and resources offered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), the Farm Service Agency (FSA) and other service providers that can support you and your work. You’ll also hear from local institutions and organizations including Penn State Extension, Grow Pittsburgh, and PASA.

This event will include group discussions to explore what resources would be most helpful to you and other growers in your communities. There will be plenty of time to speak directly with agency staff and other service providers at the end of the event.

All are welcome to join a post-workshop happy hour hosted by the Food Policy Council Urban Ag Working Group.
