This self-guided tour of small commercial farms, community gardens, and apiaries provides a unique opportunity to connect with local food, farmers, and the promise that sustainable agriculture holds for the future. Participants choose their own course, and bike or drive to each destination. Select locations will have refreshments, items for sale, and demonstrations.
Proceeds benefit the Pittsburgh Urban Growers Scholarship Fund, which supports farming education for new and beginning growers.
