Glynwood Center for Regional Food and Farming in the Hudson Valley region of NY seeks 2 Livestock Apprentices for the 2025 season.

Glynwood Livestock Apprenticeship program is for young farmers who are ready to pursue a career raising livestock. Through a combination of hands-on experience and training, apprentices gain a solid foundation in the competencies and technical skills necessary to work on a small-scale (~100-acre) diversified livestock operation. The 9-month Livestock Apprenticeship enhances apprentices’ understanding of the principles and practices of regenerative, pasture-based production of beef, pork, lamb and poultry products. All apprentices are participants in Glynwood’s Hudson Valley Apprenticeship program.
