Red Hill Farm is currently hiring a full-time farmer for the 2026 season, beginning in April and ending in November.

Red Hill Farm is a six-acre organic farm in Aston, Pennsylvania. The farm was established and is owned by the Sisters of St. Francis who are dedicated to sustainability among many other issues. At the farm, we grow a wide variety of vegetables, herbs, cut flowers, and fruit.

As a farmer at Red Hill Farm, you will be involved in all aspects of farm life from seeding in the greenhouse, planting, cultivating, irrigating, pest management, harvesting, cleaning and packaging produce, and greeting members on CSA pick up days. You will work with a friendly team of farmers and volunteers.

While previous farm experience or vegetable gardening is preferred, someone who is enthusiastic, hardworking, and dedicated is still encouraged to apply for the position. We expect all farmers to respect one another, work together to complete tasks, and be dedicated to the success of Red Hill Farm. Employment at the farm includes five paid vacation days and a weekly share of organic, seasonal produce. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with some shared weekend watering duties.

Compensation will be determined by your prior agriculture experiences. To be considered for this position, one must have a valid driver’s license as well as successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
