Schedule: Full-time, seasonal Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (40 hrs/week)
Compensation: $18-$20 per hour (DOE)

Beyond growing organic produce, we serve as a vital hub for food access, dedicated to bringing fresh, nutrient-dense produce into Atlantic City and surrounding food deserts to ensure equitable food access and feed a healthy community.

Position Overview

We are seeking a high-energy Field Crew Member to join our vegetable production team. Working under the guidance of the Vegetable Production Manager and Crew Lead, you will be a hands-on contributor responsible for the daily tasks that keep our farm productive, efficient, and community-focused.

Key Responsibilities

• Field Operations: Perform all aspects of vegetable production, including nursery work, transplanting, weeding, irrigation, composting, and harvesting
• Quality Control: Follow specific farming practices (bed prep, processing, and washing/packing) to ensure our produce meets the highest quality standards
• Collaboration: Work effectively alongside fellow crew members and volunteers in a fast-paced, positive environment
• Maintenance: Assist in keeping tools, equipment, and farm spaces clean and organized

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in farming or outdoor manual labor is preferred but not required; a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential
• Reliability: Ability to maintain a consistent schedule and work efficiently as part of a team
• Physical Requirements: Ability to repetitively lift 20-50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs assisted. Work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.)
• Attitude: A positive attitude and a passion for regenerative agriculture, gardening, and community food access
