Our fast paced and production-focused cut flower farm is seeking an energetic assistant farm manager and crew leader. This person will assist with all aspects of farming and production, as well as organizing and overseeing crew members.

Tasks will include:

• Oversee our crew in planting, growing and harvest, as well as completing many farm tasks individually.
• Communicate between farm owner and staff throughout the day, plus planning meetings.
• Participate in our busy supermarket bouquet making process (June-Sept), on-farm sales and events, field work and harvest, and limited design work.

​Full-time position starts immediately, through December and resumes early March. Some part-time winter work is also available. Schedule Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm plus occasional weekend day during busy harvest months.

Applicants must possess the following:

• 2 years farming experience
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Highly organized, thorough and attentive to detail
• Ability to work alone and in groups
• Desire to work quickly and sustain hustle; enjoyment of task completion
• Stamina to work outside in all weather conditions
• Ability to maintain quality and aesthetic standards consistently
• Valid driver’s license
• Additionally, these qualities are preferential:
• Leadership experience and training
• Familiarity with small farm equipment
• Flower harvest experience
