All of our milk goes into on-premise cheesemaking so cheesemilk producing experience highly sought after. Minimum 2 year experience in dairy agriculture.
Responsibilities include 5-7 milkings per week, feeding, watering, moving the animals, and various farm maintenance projects. Some farm experience, and a willingness to hard work in all kinds of weather. You must be comfortable with cows and heavy machinery, or willing to learn to be with the latter. This position presents opportunities to gain experience with various farm work, including haymaking, equipment maintenance, tree felling and chainsaw work, and holistic animal health care.
