About Jennifer

Jennifer has been a passionate, engaged member of the Pasa Community for almost 20 years. Her love for local food and farms began in 1998 with work on a small farm on the craggy coast of Inismore, Ireland. Jennifer brought her new-found appreciation for hand-grown food back to the Philadelphia area and became The Fair Food Farmstand’s first volunteer. She spent the next 15+ years getting hands-on experience on farms and in dynamic retail operations. Her farming career began at the 138-acre Willow Creek Orchards, Montgomery County’s first Certified Organic farm, where she worked initially as the Shed Manager and went on to become the General Manager.

Jennifer took the leap into several leadership roles spanning both for-profit and nonprofit enterprises, creating innovative public programs and spearheading the development of new businesses. As COO of a local nonprofit, managing two farm hubs with a focus on farmer training, she worked with her teammates to create the Tri-State CRAFT program, now integrated into Pasa’s Soil Institute. Jennifer co-founded Kitchen Table Consultants and now guides True North Collective, a small, woman-led project and consulting firm. Jennifer has served on several nonprofit boards and advisory committees including the Pasa Eastern Regional Advisory Committee, Pa-WAgN, and Urban Tree Connection.

“I am grateful to give back to the community that has given me so much support, guidance and inspiration over the years.”
