Riverbend Roots Farm is a 10-acre organic vegetable farm, in Alton, IL, serving local residents through our membership (CSA) program, local Farmers Markets and restaurants.  We run a vibrant, intensive apprenticeship program for aspiring farmers/gardeners.    We seek 2-3 farm apprentices to work alongside us and participate in all the seasonal tasks of our small, local, organic vegetable farm.  Our apprentices will immerse themselves in a season of growing, harvesting, marketing and eating ecologically-grown, hand-picked vegetables, and will participate in classes and field trips to deepen and broaden their exposure to local farming and gardening.  Apprentices receive a living stipend and shared housing.   Please visit our web-site (www.riverbendroots.com) or contact us at kris@riverbendroots.com or 618-444-0567 for more information.
